Memory's "UNCANNY'ed" Thought of The Day

Are You Thankful For Your Roller Coaster Ride?

Often times as people start to succeed in their careers, personal lives, etc., they tend to become proud or arrogant--I'm even guilty of it.

It is so important to remain humble and to NEVER forget where you come from. For it is the journey from where you came from to where you have arrived that is amazing.

One of my facebook friends posed the question: "What's more important-achievement or aptitude?" My response to him was that aptitude is the beginning of the process while achievement is the end. Aptitude is described as a tendency; therefore considered less action-based and something that is possessed, while achievement is caused by action. A person may have the aptitude or talent to be successful, but if they do not choose to act upon my aptitude I will not achieve. Achievement is the result of aptitude acted upon. The main point: They are both equally as important, but the ACTION between aptitude and achievement is what counts!

I say all of that to say that your past and your present (for, that matter your future) are equally as important, but you absolutely have no story or testimony without the journey in between the two.

At times, it seems like life is full of unexpectantcies--ups, downs, loops, etc. I know sometimes the journey can be rough, but thank God for the roller coaster ride--the ride makes your testimony much more intriguing!

Blessings.
