My New & Au Naturale Journey!

All my life (up until now) I have been enslaved to my hair and its troubles. During my childhood, I was teased and chastised because my hair was "nappy". I believe it really scarred me because I grew up hating my hair--and I really do not believe I was the only one who hated it.

My mom permed my hair at the age of three because she was tired of fighting with it, and I've been on "creamy crack" since then--until August 2008.

I grew out my perm by wearing weaves for about 9 months, and finally decided to twist it in preparation for the loc'ing process. See my pics:









Yeah, I had a photo shoot in KINKOS! Ha. I plan to document my journey, so there will be more pics to come.
