Ok, so everyone knows that I absolutely LOVED the first self-titled Day 26 album:
This album had several smashers like, "Are We In This Together", "Since You've Been Gone", and "Come In" to name just a few. Actually, at about track 4, I can let the album run without pushing the "next" button.
So let's talk about the present album, "Forever In A Day":
I'll be honest...it's not as good as the first one, however, there are a few cuts on it like, "BiPolar", "Perfectly Blind", and "Girlfriend".
Also, there's another club jam that I like called "Need That". It just makes me want to dance.
I've noticed a trend though, once again, after about Track 5, I can let the album play without skipping a song, HOWEVER, I don't think the album ended right. It ends with a song called "Truth Is A Lie". I found myself grooving, and then after the song plays, I say to myself, "What? That's the end?" I don't like when albums leave me with questions at the end.
Given all the drama on the show "Making The Band 4", Que actually sings a lot on the album. His voice has gotten a lot stronger, and he is definitely a lot more comfortable taking risks with some of his ranges. Check out "Perfectly Blind"
Album's Grade: B (closer to B-, but because of the Day26 first video off of this album, and Willie looking good enough to be put on a platter and served (I digress), I decided to go with the B).
