All in all, I think that this documentary is ground-breaking. I applaud CNN for taking a courageous step.
Many folks that I know have complained that CNN spent too much time highlighting many negatives in this segment. I agree, HOWEVER, I believe that it was good that it did uncover all of the negatives that so many American choose to ignore.
If CNN had highlighted as many positives as they did negatives, there would be no reason for the documentary. Think about it--most Americans already believe Blacks receive preferential treatment as it is.
What I wish CNN would have done more of, is getting to the root of WHY the negatives are so prevalent within the Black community.
