"Uncanny'ed" Shopping

So, I have decided to start a new trend here on my blog. Once a week, I will go on a cyber window shopping spree. I figured that since I'm trying to cut down on my spending, it wouldn't hurt to 'window-shop' while online! Each week I will shop for a different imaginary scenario.

This week's scenario: First date. So, you meet a gorgeous guy that has a beautiful smile (can we just stop and observe a moment of silence for the gorgeous guy with this beautiful smile??? Those don't come along every day!). He asks you on date to dinner and jazz concert. Your budget is $250--dang, that's a nice budget for a first date outfit! Ok, so here's what I found:

Black is a great color! Since you're going to a jazz concert this is perfect! In places such as theatres, operas, etc, always wear black. You never want to draw attention to yourself--especially on a first date. Now, on to the shoes and accessories! Shoes and accessories can make a black dress operate like a red slinky sexy dress. For a black dress such as this one, I would pick one color for my shoe and handbag:

I would do simple, simple gold earrings, and nice simple gold necklace. The neckline is sexy enough, so extravagant jewelry would take away from that. So, let's see what we've spent today: $235. With tax, we're right at $250!!
